Luz Ortiz When I interviewed several different people for the position of Office Manager, I said I needed that person to come in and take charge of the office. I needed that person to be the boss and to “own” the position. She came in, having run another corporation for over 20 years and only left because the other company closed due to retirement of the owner. That was to RPM’s great fortune. She has taken charge and surpassed any expectations I had or may have imagined. Luz is responsible for a wide range of duties. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, manages the staff and handles almost all of the filing, scheduling and correspondence between RPM and its customers and vendors. She handles AP, AR and internal bookkeeping, ordering of our supplies and is the able liaison to our computer programmer who is creating our elaborate custom database that essentially runs our entire company. She has exceptional organizational, communication and people skills, judgement, intuition and a fearlessness that serves RPM in ways that are difficult to overstate or quantify. She is a team player who is always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done and is committed to providing a positive and productive work environment for all. She is proud to be a part of the RPM Team and is a valuable asset to RPM and her community. She is a dedicated and hardworking professional who is also a kind and compassionate individual, always willing to help others.
