The GE Entellisys System Test Kit, also known as the ETSTESTKIT03 or DEH-233, is a portable instrument designed for field testing of the Entellisys Low Voltage Switchgear System. It allows users to verify the function and operation of the protection system by simulating power line characteristics for a single circuit breaker.
Overcurrent Protection Tests: Verifies Long Time, Short Time, Instantaneous, and Ground Fault protection functions.
Relay & System Protection Tests: Tests single-point relay protections, including Over/Undervoltage, Over/Underfrequency, Power Reversal, Phase Loss, and High Current.
TCC Curve Calibration: Validates the calibration of the Time-Current Characteristic (TCC) curve.
Trip & No-Trip Modes: Verifies physical circuit breaker actuation in “Trip mode” or validates control logic without opening the breaker in “No Trip mode”.
Ground Fault Defeat: Allows temporary suspension of Ground Fault functions during testing.
Automated Setup: Automatically reads system configurations from the Messenger, displays protection summaries, and logs results for reporting.
Testing Scope: Tests the entire downstream Entellisys protection chain, excluding the primary CTs, internal Messenger burden resistors, and PTs.
