Data Management:
- Stores up to 140 test records in internal flash EEPROM. Each record can contain multiple saturation curves, burden test reports, ratio readings, polarity, and DC resistance readings.
- Can store up to 128 test plans, which include saturation test settings, CT nameplate ratios, and winding terminal combinations, simplifying repetitive testing.
- Includes a built-in 4.5-inch wide thermal printer for immediate report generation, including test results and saturation curves.
- Offers interfaces for data transfer and external control via RS-232C, USB, and USB flash drive.
Description:
- Automated CT Testing: The EZCT-2000B can perform a full suite of CT tests automatically once connected to all the CT output terminals, eliminating the need for manual lead switching.
- Multiple Tests: It performs several critical CT tests, including:
- CT excitation (saturation) tests using the ANSI/IEEE C57.13.1 method. It offers selectable test voltage ranges (50, 300, 500, 1200, and 2000 Vac) and automatically raises and lowers the voltage. It calculates and prints knee-point voltages according to various standards (ANSI 10/50, IEC 60044, IEEE-30, IEEE-45). It can store up to 10 excitation tests per record and plot saturation curves.
- CT current-ratio tests using the ANSI/IEEE C57.12.90 method by applying a test voltage to the secondary terminals and measuring the induced voltage on the primary side. The ratio is displayed and stored, with a measurement range of 0.8 to 5,000. It also calculates and displays the current ratio error and phase displacement based on the CT burden and rated current.
- CT polarity tests, displaying the polarity as “+” (in-phase) or “-” (out-of-phase) along with the phase angle
- CT secondary burden measurement by injecting a 1A or 5A test current and displaying voltage, current, power factor, and burden impedance.
- CT winding insulation resistance measurement using a DC test voltage up to 1000 Vdc, with a reading range of 2 to 500 Mega-ohms.
- CT secondary winding DC resistance measurement with a range of 100 micro-ohms to 10 ohms.
